COVID-19 – 15/12/2021 Update

We are fully operational, and we are contactable by phone, web-form and e-mail, and our staff are in good health. And relevant staff members are happy to visit people's premises to provide them with quotes or to perform work for them. However, to eliminate unnecessary staff interactions with the public, given the on-going uncertainties with respect to COVID-19 in the ACT and regional NSW, we continue to ask (see 04/08/2021 Update), that members of the general public not visit our address. You can see our showroom on Google Maps.

COVID-19 – 29/10/2021 Update

As of the formal end of lockdown on 15/10/2021 almost all restrictions on types of work we were permitted to perform ended, and as of 29/10/2021 the final restriction on work-type (new non-urgent work at occupied residential apartments) was also lifted.

We still ask members of public not to come to our office at this time to eliminate unnecessary staff interactions with the public (see 04/08/2021 Update), but relevant staff members will be very happy to come and visit you.

COVID-19 – 16/08/2021 Update

If the heating at your house has failed, or if it has developed a problem that is causing its performance to be substantially inadequate, it is permissible during the current ACT lockdown to get it repaired or replaced, and we are willing and able to perform such repairs and installs at this difficult time. It is extremely important that COVID-19 deaths and health dangers are kept to a minimum, but there are also a range of health issues of which being cold increases the risk. Indeed, a study (Gasparrini et al. (2015) Lancet, 386: 369–75), looking at 3 Australian cities, found that 6.5% of deaths over a 21-year period were attributable to the cold.

However, if you just want a general (preventative maintenance) service, or if you want an install to replace a unit with which you are unhappy but the performance of which is reasonably adequate, or if you want a unit installed at a property currently under construction, while we welcome you contacting us about this at your earliest convenience, we will not be able to come out until after the lockdown is over.

As per our update on 05/08/2021, it also remains the case that members of the general public are not to come to our office. That cautionary move, which preceded the current lockdown, will continue to be the case until further notice.

However, to eliminate unnecessary staff interactions with the public, in the context of the unfolding COVID-19 situation in NSW and the risk that poses to the ACT, members of the general public are NOT to visit our address. Members of the general public attempting to do so can be expected to be denied entry. If you wish to see our showroom, please check out Google Maps.
